NKSFB Fights Hunger Volunteering at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank

September 10, 2024

September is Hunger Action Month. NKSFB responded by sending a large group of volunteers to work at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank facility in City of Industry, CA.

Together we worked “the line” and assembled an impressive 756 kits, 2,000 mesh bags, and 3,970 lbs of bread!  These food packages are destined for families, individuals, seniors, and children who are food insecure in Los Angeles County. The kits included canned fruit, vegetables, rice, cereal, pasta, and other non-perishable food items.

Everyone involved had a great time and looks forward to another event at the facility next year.
