Richard Welling is a Tax Partner with more than 30 years of experience. Richard’s focus is Tax and he specializes in:

• Strategic tax planning
• Tax compliance
• Services specific to high income/high net worth individuals with extensive real estate and investment holdings, and their closely held businesses
• Corporate and partnership taxation

Richard holds a BS in Accounting and Finance from California State University, Long Beach. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to joining NKSFB, Richard was Managing Partner of a local CPA firm, and Tax Manager at a large international CPA firm.

Richard and his wife Darlene live In Irvine where they attend Mariners Church and serve in various leadership positions. Richard currently serves on the Mariners’ Executive Council. Richard is an avid mountain biker and has completed a number of ultra-endurance races.
